2. Bài mẫu chủ đề Celebrities/ Famous People - Speaking Part 2

Trong phần thi IELTS Speaking Part 2 chủ đề Famous People, bạn sẽ thường bắt gặp đề bài yêu cầu bạn miêu tả về một ca sĩ, diễn viên hoặc một người nổi tiếng trên mạng xã hội. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity if I had the pleasure to meet the four gorgeous girls who comprise the K pop supergroup BlackPink, one of the biggest recording artists in the world.

I’ve loved them since they debuted in 2016 - consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, four South Korean girls. BlackPink is renowned as the biggest girl group in the world. After debuting, they have broken so many world records. With two big hits "Kill This Love" and "How You Like That", which each set the record for the most viewed videos in a 24-hour period, their greatness simply cannot be questioned! Additionally, they also hold two Guinness World Records! Each of the girls has received many acknowledgments from committees and associations all over the world for their contributions to the music industry.

They also enjoy the admiration of tens of thousands of fans due to their command of the English language. Although I am not a big fan of K-pop music generally, I am fascinated by how they answer reporters in English. Furthermore, they always present themselves in an exquisite manner.

If I had the chance to meet them I’d snap loads of pictures which I would use to decorate the corner of my study where I work. What’s more, I would suggest an intimate dinner together so I could chat to them and be inspired by their positive attitudes.

It is quite common among people to follow celebrities on social media rather than just watching them on screen or reading about them in magazines, as it gives them the feeling of being virtually connected with them. So today, I would like to talk about a celebrity that I adore and follow on Instagram.

His name is Nakamoto Yuta, although being Japanese, he is currently participating as a member of the Korean boy group NCT. The year 2016 was when I knew about him through an article that announced the debut of his group with the MV “Fire Truck”. Back then I was interested in learning Japanese so his name caught my attention and I was immediately hooked by his outstanding performance. I have been following him on social media since then. I really loved the way he sings and the way he expresses the feeling of the song. Plus, Yuta has always worked seriously to give high-quality music products. Not to mention that he has a really attractive smile.

Besides talent, Nakamoto Yuta is beloved for his good-heartedness. He is a thoughtful and gracious person who cares the most for his fans. On Instagram, he always posts motivational thoughts, pictures, and videos that relate to his work. Sometimes he would live stream on Instagram as an opportunity to interact with worldwide fans – when he takes off his celebrity side and becomes a close friend to his fans, to talk about his days and even give the fans helpful life advice with determination and positivity.

I admired Yuta since I got motivated by his personality and lifestyle. I believe he has achieved the zenith of success in his life due to being dedicated and putting in his best efforts in working.

While there are a lot of great reasons to be rich and famous, it’s often a lot harder than you might think. If you want to earn more, you have to sacrifice more, as people always say.

Yes, in general, anyway, it is easier to "get" fame today than it was in our grandparents' time, mainly because of technological advancements, people today have more leeway and opportunities to advertise on different media outlets. We also seem to have "compromised" a lot with traditional socio-cultural values in order to be famous. In fact, it seems that the more you can get out of the box, the easier it is for him or her to become famous. I have a friend who has over 80,000 followers on YouTube and is well known in his community. This was unthinkable in my grandparents' time due to the technological advancements of our time.
